Payment for parking in Baku

Based on new rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers under number 213 of July 25, 2023, new tariffs that apply to state parking have come into force. Payment is charged according to certain parking areas.

It is necessary to inform that the stop of vehicles from the evening of 22:00 to the morning of 07:00, as well as on Sunday, parking will be free.

The parking area is divided into several unequal parts with difficult boundaries. The central zone starts from Yusif Safarov Street (Javanshir Bridge) in the east and extends west to Azerbaijan Avenue (formerly Gusi Hajiyev Street). It covers the Winter Boulevard, the area of ​​the Icherisheher metro station, the Azneft circle and the part of the new boulevard to the State Flag Square. The boundaries of the Central Zone are determined by Neftchiler Avenue from the south and Fuzuli Street from the north.

The principle of operation of the payment system via SMS is as follows: when parking, you need to send an SMS message to the provided number containing information about the vehicle license plate number and parking number. For example, the message format may be as follows: 00-XX-000-00000, where the first block is the vehicle license plate number, the second block is the parking number.

Before leaving the parking lot, you must send an SMS with the text “SON” to the same number. The system automatically deducts parking fees from your simcard balance after receiving this message. Be careful and remember to complete this process before leaving the parking lot. You should definitely stop the parking time by sending an SMS message to this number.
