For what do you need the security deposit?

Security deposit is a part of the sum (money) paid by the customer (leaser) when you rent a car in Baku. Don’t confuse the security deposit with payment, because the deposit is refunded when you return the car and held to cover the company’s expenses, if any, will be revealed during or after the returning.

What expenses can be?
One of the main and fundamental reasons for the keeping of security deposit is fines (traffic violations) committed by the customer during the period of driving.

As well as damages that do not exceed the amount of the franchise or damage do not cover insurance policy.
These can be:
Wheels, bottom, mirrors, glasses, some defacement, willful defacement of additional equipment of the car. (More details on insurance read here)

-Washing, cleaning of the car (if it required);
-Do not match the level of fuel that was upon delivery of the car;
-Delays, the non-returning car at the estimated time;

Security deposit is returned as soon as you return the car when making cash.
