DESCRIPTION
In the recent past, AvtoVAZ bought out all the rights in General Motors and became the full owner of the Chevrolet Niva, giving it a new name, Lada Niva Travel. The car hasn’t changed much. Updates, it can be said, touched only the frontal part of the Lada Niva Travel car. Competitors of Lada Niva Travel are such cars as: UAZ Hunter, Renault Duster, JAC S5, Kifan X60 and Lifan X70.
As for the appearance, it has remained virtually unchanged. According to the words and comments of many motorists, the front of the car was simply copied from the Toyota Rav4. The front optics, regardless of the configuration, is equipped with halogen lamps and LED lights in the lower part of the body. The radiator grille is made of black plastic. Chrome elements are not present in Lada Niva Travel. A little lower on the sides are hooks for towing. Minimal changes to the side of the SUV affected the wheel arches, which received sharper rectangular shapes made of plastic. Along the doors around the entire perimeter, we can also notice plastic protective inserts. The back of the Lada Niva Travel also remained virtually unchanged. Volumetric bumper has become more rough. The cover with the spare wheel, as before, is located on the trunk door, and the inscription LADA appeared on the side.
The interior design is completely carried over from the Chevrolet Niva model. Manual control of all vehicle functions are located on the central panel. There are no touch buttons, although the top version will have a multimedia display. A manual transmission handle and an all-wheel drive lever are installed on the central tunnel. Lada Niva Travel will accommodate 5 passengers. The seat is upholstered in black fabric.
