It costs pennies (central zones are just 1 AZN/hour, outskirts — 0.30 AZN).

2. Baku’s “Undergrounds” — Salvation from Heat and Traffic
Local drivers often circle narrow streets looking for a “gap” by the curb. Don’t be like them. In Baku, a whole city for cars is hidden underground.
The biggest secret is “Winter Park” (Qış Parkı). It’s a giant underground bunker for 4,000 cars right under the city center.

- Price: Ridiculous. About 1-2 AZN, and the car stays cool, under cameras, while you stroll around Fountains Square.
- Where to find it: Type Winter Park Underground Parking into your navigator. Elevators take you straight to the boulevard.
3. Red Lines and Bus “Traps”
Baku loves buses. Special lanes and “pockets” are dedicated to them.
Golden Rule: If you see asphalt marked with yellow zigzags or a bus stop sign — don’t even think about turning on your hazard lights for 5 minutes. Cameras on buses record license plates automatically. The fine arrives instantly.

4. Spontaneous Courtyard Parking: Is It Worth the Risk?
