Mandatory disinfection procedures

Just yesterday, the first case of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was recorded in China (Wuhan Province), and it was so far from Azerbaijan. We looked at all this simply as a scary movie, it seemed that this infection would in no way reach Baku and did not touch us. But already today we see a panic of people and radical measures on the part of the state of Azerbaijan to block the development of this pandemic.
We must pay tribute to the Government of Azerbaijan for the prompt response to this outbreak of COVID-19 disease, the introduction of preventive measures, and the prevention of the spread of this threat in our country:

• All borders with neighboring countries are blocked.
• Flights to many countries are limited
• Closed universities, schools, kindergartens
• Sports sections and fitness rooms
• Canceled all concerts and shows

From March 19, 2020 at 00:00, entry into the capital is limited to reduce crowding and density of people. All arriving citizens from other countries are immediately quarantined (14 days).

Our company “Karavan” (car rental in Baku) also introduced its own rules and maximum measures to protect our dear customers from the crown of a viral infection (COVID-19). Before delivering the car to the client, the car undergoes a number of mandatory procedures, namely:
• Car wash
• Car processing (European standard EN 14476, and RKI / DVV method)
• Drying
• Equipping the vehicle with minimal personal hygiene products (mask, alcohol, antibacterial wet wipes, dry wipes)
The office of the company “Karavan” (car rental in Azerbaijan) undergoes complete disinfection, wet cleaning is performed every day, employees underwent special training on health safety and preventing the development of the Coronavirus infection.
We advise to avoid crowded places, to minimize contacts and communication unnecessarily. Refrain from traveling by public transport and taxi. If there is a need for transport, it is better to rent a car with us and protect yourself and your loved ones from this terrible COVID-19 pandemic.
