Skoda

One of the oldest European engineering companies, founded in 1869.  The founder of the company was Count Walleinsten-Wartenberk.  Later, Emil Skoda became the owner of the company.  This surname became the name of the company.  Initially, the factory produced various metal parts for a wide range of industrial enterprises.  The production and assembly of parts for trains, power plants, as well as artillery and military equipment was established.  The company logo symbolizes an arrow with three feathers, which are placed inside a circle.  This logo has been known to us since 1923.

In 1991, privatization was carried out, the company entered the German concern Volkswagen Group.

Skoda has achieved a considerable number of awards in motor racing, where it has been participating since 1901.
