Kia Rio rental in Baku with delivery to Heydar Aliyev Airport (GYD) after a night flight

My name is Ahmad Al-Harthi, I live in Muscat, and I flew to Baku with my brother for a week. Our flight arrived after midnight, and the last thing we wanted was to negotiate with taxi drivers at that hour with luggage in hand.

A few days before the trip I arranged car rental in Baku with Karavan Rent A Car in Baku and asked for delivery to the airport. The manager confirmed the time and said the employee would wait for us in the arrivals hall.

Everything happened exactly as agreed. We came out, saw our name on a sign, and ten minutes later were driving towards the city in a Kia Rio. The car was clean, fully fuelled, and the documents were prepared in advance.

The Rio is a simple and honest sedan. Nothing superfluous, but everything you actually need on a trip: air conditioning that works properly, a comfortable driving position, a boot that took both of our suitcases without a fight.

Over the week we drove all around Baku and twice went out of the city. The car is economical — in seven days of active driving we refuelled twice — and it is easy to handle in traffic even if you are not used to the local driving style.

Separately I want to note the honesty of the terms. Everything was named at the booking stage: the price, the deposit, what the insurance covers. At the end nothing extra appeared on the bill, which unfortunately is not always the case in other countries.

On the last day we returned the car at the airport before an early flight. The employee arrived before us, checked the car quickly and wished us a good trip.

If you arrive in Baku late and want to start the holiday without stress, I recommend car rental in Baku with airport delivery. The Kia Rio from Karavan Rent A Car in Baku is a sensible and inexpensive choice for a week in the country.
