News: ACRA whitelists car rental companies in Azerbaijan
📢 We have been elected Chairman of Azerbaijan’s first professional car rental industry association.
In 2026, together with ten other market operators, we created something that did not previously exist in Azerbaijan — a professional industry body with a binding charter, an annual audit, and a public list of verified companies.
It’s called the White List. Here’s what it means and why it matters to you.
Why We Did This
The car rental market in Baku grew fast. So did the number of “companies” with no office, no insurance, and no inspection report. Clients had no reliable way to tell them from legitimate operators — not from a website alone. They usually found out the difference when they returned the vehicle.
Professional operators got tired of carrying the reputational damage for other people’s misconduct. So we sat down and agreed — not on prices, but on one thing: every client choosing a company from our list receives a fair contract, a roadworthy vehicle, and genuine support.
What the White List Is
🔎 A public register of operators who have passed an independent audit against 8 criteria:
- ✅ Legal registration and operating licence
- ✅ Photographic inspection report at every vehicle handover
- ✅ CDW + TPL insurance on every vehicle
- ✅ Transparent contract — no hidden clauses
- ✅ Deposit and all retention grounds documented in writing
- ✅ Fleet maintenance on manufacturer schedule
- ✅ Live 24/7 support — not a voicemail
- ✅ ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 QHSE compliance
First charter violation: formal warning. Second violation: public removal from the list. No exceptions.

The order is not a ranking. All members carry equal standing under the charter.
How to Verify a Company Before Booking
