Five Absheron beaches — with real figures

The guide covers five main destinations within 20–47 km of Baku.
Novkhani (21–25 km) is the closest and most popular option, with a gradual water entry, though company experts note honestly that it comes with algae and coarse sand mixed with shell fragments.
Bilgah (40–47 km) is a quiet resort zone built around a sanatorium.
Mardakan (35–40 km) combines a beach with a medieval fortress and a botanical garden.
Nardaran (25–30 km) is where the water deepens quickly, just metres from shore.
Zagulba (~40 km) has the clearest water on the peninsula, thanks to its rocky bottom.

Nabran — a separate trip, not an alternative
