A Smartphone on Wheels: the New Changan Q07 Joins the Karavan Rent A Car in Baku Fleet
Karavan Rent A Car in Baku, Azerbaijan’s largest car rental company, has added the Changan Q07 crossover to its fleet. The company calls its new arrival a smartphone on wheels: the infotainment runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, the cabin has a rotating 15.4-inch screen and a separate 12.8-inch display for the passenger, and there is 4G, Wi-Fi and over-the-air updating.
What you need to know about the new model:
- the Q07 is a plug-in hybrid, so you don’t have to charge it during your rental, and with the battery run down its official fuel figure is about 3.9 litres per 100 km;
- it has five seats, a 2.9 m wheelbase and a 763-litre boot;
- the driver is helped by adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, 540° cameras and automatic parking;
- rentals start at a single day and can be taken without a deposit, while a delivery service manager can drop the car at the airport, a hotel or a home address day or night.
A detailed article on the new car is now on the company blog. It covers the full specifications, explains whether a hybrid needs charging on a rental, and gives an honest comparison with the economy class: when a compact saloon is the better deal and when the roomy Q07 is.
