On 1 October 2026, Ski Center Baku opened in Baku — a 2,800-square-metre indoor centre for skiing and snowboarding. The Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation presented it as the second-largest indoor ski centre in the world.

The centre has three MaxxTracks training slopes — inclined tracks with a moving artificial surface — and an Olympus SkyTech simulator. This means you can ski here all year round, whatever the weather. The centre is designed for both beginners and experienced skiers and snowboarders.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and Fuad Naghiyev — President of the Winter Sports Federation and Chairman of the State Tourism Agency.

The centre’s top priority is bringing children and young people into winter sports. Introductory programmes are planned for schoolchildren, training groups for new athletes and seminars for coaches.

Ski Center Baku is located at Whitestone Towers, 74 Izzatdin Hasanoglu Street, Narimanov District, Baku.
