Karavan Rent A Car in Baku Publishes a Guide to Choosing a Minivan: Seven Models and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for up to 20, With or Without a Driver
Karavan Rent A Car in Baku has published a guide on its blog to choosing a minivan for trips around Baku and Azerbaijan. It covers all seven minivan models in the company’s fleet, plus the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus for large groups.
The minivans for rent:
- the Hyundai Staria, with 7, 8 or 9 seats;
- the Kia Carnival, which takes up to eight people, and the seven-seat Hyundai Custin;
- the Hyundai H-1, Mercedes-Benz Vito and Viano, with eight seats each;
- the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, as a six-seat VIP version with captain’s chairs or a seven-seat version.
Each of them can be rented with or without a driver. For groups too big for nine seats, there is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with up to 20 seats, which comes with a driver only.
What the guide covers:
- a table with the seats, suitcases, engine, length and wheelbase of each model: the large minivans take up to eight suitcases, the Carnival and Custin up to four;
- matching a minivan to the trip: meeting a delegation, a family week in the regions, an airport transfer for eight people with luggage;
- when it’s easier to book a driver and when to drive yourself;
- answers to five common questions, such as whether you need a special licence to drive a minivan and whether you can take one to the mountains or to Karabakh.
The company is also planning to bring a new Hyundai Staria into the fleet.
The minivan is brought wherever you need it — Heydar Aliyev International Airport, your hotel or any address, at night too — and a delivery service manager arrives with the keys and the contract. The deposit can be skipped by taking full “All Risks Zero” cover or adding the “No Deposit” service to standard insurance. The minimum rental is one day, or three days for trips to remote districts.
